The President's Executive Order

The President's Executive Order may have titanic effects on public schools, universities and other agencies receiving federal funding. 

Last Tuesday, the President of the United States issued a full Executive Order expanding his determination to halt all training based upon Critical Race Theory within any agency affiliated with the U.S. government. 

The President denounced CRT's "false belief that America is an irredeemably racist and sexist country." 

The President's Executive Order, which is aptly titled, "Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping," will disrupt funding for academia's Critical Race Theory programs, and stop all federal grants for programs that incorporate CRT in its teaching.

Programs based upon Critical Race Theory often use the descriptors, "diversity," "equity," "inclusion," "social justice," or "anti-racism" in the title, or in the course description and content. Sounds really good! Until you look under the hood. 

Any private company working with the U.S. government cannot continue teaching Critical Race Theory, anywhere within its offices, if they want to keep working with the U.S. government.

This is an extraordinary move. Clearly the President is on a mission, like a heat-seeking missile. And for good reason.

It is yet to be seen how all of this will affect K-12 public schools and universities. You can be sure the lawyers are scrambling as you read this post.
